Hi my name's dani. I have about 100 karaoke discs and they are only because I wanted to sing a particular song. Nice to meet you all. What's your wish list for songs not yet made?

Me?

Sometimes Salvation by the Black Crowes
The Church Song by Lyle Lovett
Rompin Stompin Blues by Judds
What's this and Jack's Lament from Nightmare Before Christmas
electricity in School House Rocks
Conjunction Junction in the same
The ELO and Olivia Newton John medly in Xanadu
And various embarrasing show tunes from other children's movies that prove further what a dork I am.

What'r yours?

For ones that I know don't exist in Karaoke form?

Leon Russel- A song for you
    Alejandro Escovedo - Crooked Frame
The Breakfast Club- Right on Track
Emmylou Harris - Sleepless Nights (or Gram Parsons version)
    Neil Diamond - Hell Yeah

And I second you on Sometimes Salvation. That would be even more fun to sing if I actually had a good voice.
My "white whale" for karaoke songs used to be "Shiloh" by Neil Diamond, but Bill Billstofferson (kj extraordinarre) tracked it down for me.

          "White Whale" would mean extraordinarily rare find. For me, the song I would die to be put on karaoke would be "Underwear" by Pulp. That song is just so melodramatic and the epitome, to me, or Jarvis Cocker doing what he does best, I think it's the perfect karaoke song...though it has been neglected by the disk manufactures;

          A white whale-
like Ahab's white whale (literally) was Moby Dick
My white whale, something that was always elusive, out of my grasp, was Shiloh.

And I'm certain that Annie's Social Club has Xanandu. Anyone want to back me up on this?

It's not the song Xanadu I'm looking, for it's a song called Dancin'

It doesn't show up on a database I use that's pretty complete.

It would be neat if it did!~ :)

Actually, the song you're referring to was actually done by Olivia Newton-John and The Tubes. I do believe I have come across that song as being available on karaoke, but I could be wrong. I'll see what I can find.
